Since all boxes are handcrafted, variations will happen. These can include the tightness of the closure, changes in the wood color per box or on the same box, differences in the engraving, hardware, etc. All of these are a part of the beauty of these boxes!
Closure a little hard, a bit of sandpaper can ease this if you like. We would rather the top close a bit tighter to keep your precious belongings safe if we can help it.
